天龍奥三河国定公園「天龍峡」

天龍峡の名は、江戸時代の弘化4年（1847）4月29日、儒学者（※2）の阪谷朗廬（さかたにろうろ）が、岩を砕く激流と高い断崖の景観をほをほめたたえ、峡谷を流れる大河の名をとって命名しました。
